The Youth Hut had its first whole day leadership seminar that welcomed 5 participants from the United Kingdom and 18 participants, including two Youth Leaders from Geneva, Switzerland. The youths gained insight into living a purposeful life, becoming aware of the power of understanding, discovering and working with purpose to give life satisfaction and impact the world. In particular, they learned that:

• Purpose is powerful.
• Purpose cannot be fulfilled alone; we need people.
• Purpose does not die. It lives on after we have passed on, e.g., Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela, et al.
• Purpose, if we understand it, discover it, and run with it, will give us life satisfaction and impact others and the world.
• The context of our purpose can change or become broadened over our lifetime.
• To fulfil our purpose, we must have the right mindset, cultivate positive emotions, be our best possible selves, clarify our values, recognize our strengths, and think of volunteering to start being in alignment with our purpose.
